Trigger Mechanism Visual Aid Example
The forensic engineering inspection photograph to the left shows an electrical trigger switch mechanism inside of a power tool handle. This visual image could be improved by retouching and annotating the photograph, but things would still appear unclear due to the lack of distinction between the shapes in the trigger mechanism and the handle. In this situation, technical illustration techniques most effectively illustrate on the components with relevance to the case. The result is an easy to follow three dimensional drawing.
